| Details: | Oil & Gas UK is delighted to announce the appointment of John Gallagher, Shell's Vice President Technical - Europe, as the association's new co-chair, succeeding Archie Kennedy. John Gallagher will join co-chair Bob Keiller, CEO of PSN, in helping Oil & Gas UK steer the industry through the current economic challenges towards a prosperous and sustainable future. Malcolm Webb, chief executive of Oil & Gas UK, said: "Archie Kennedy has been an excellent co-chair and supporter of our association, but in John Gallagher we have a tailor-made replacement. John has already been giving us highly valuable support in his role as vice chairman of Oil & Gas UK, and I look forward to be working with him further in his new role." Oil & Gas UK is currently in the process of extending membership of its Board, reflecting the association's growth over the last year. New Board members will be announced later this month. John Gallagher commented: "It is an honour to be elected to this position and I would like to thank Archie for the service he has provided to our industry.
